Most error multiples of this period have long since been broken up sold as singles/positional multiples. Kensington Palace ERROR, MISSING SILVER Queen's head … previously supplied by SG, described by SG retail card accompanying (price £1,500=) as scarce, Pierron (errors specialised catalogue) records only 30 known examples. Substantially under-catalogued (?). Gibbons Concise (2026) notes: No. 1124a (missing silver) shows the Queen's head in pale greenish yellow, this colour being printed beneath the silver for technical reasons.
