If you collect presentation packs chances are that you may have missed these seldom-offered official original British Post Office issued Presentation Packs. These literally come by so infrequently that we see no more than a few packs once in every few years. The 2nd of these forerunner presentation packs is the £1.18s. UK version (A US$ version also exists). Listed in SG Concise below the 2nd De La Rue set listing SG595-598 Gibbons lists 3 versions - this being the UK version in fine unopened condition. Naturally, unopened packs are worth more (except the stamps displayed can not be tidied(!). These forerunner packs undulate. Consequently the glassine display panel is difficult to photograph. Fine condition, unopened and very scarce. SG Concise 2026 prices this pack from £1,400.00. Currently these packs in fine unopened condition command retail values in excess of GBP£1,400=. A rare opportunity because in UPA's selling systems this pack will sell. (1 pack)
