QV 9d. Straw (Plate 2) letters L-G. Supplied by SG retail price £2,650= and described as very fine well centred unused large part o.g. example lettered L-G, a very fresh example with lovely colour. SG Specialised J92(2) … in 54 years I have never seen a more perfect colour perfectly centred example of this very prone to fade shade. If this were a USA stamp of this period … with such centring, we are talking 100% to 500% premium to the catalogue value. This, however, is the UK.
